Since its launch last year, Lords of the Fallen has received a ton of post-launch support from Hexworks, releasing multiple ‘Final’ updates. In a surprising move, the team have now published a 3rd final update.
Making the announcement, the team at Hexworks officially unveiled Lords of the Fallen’s 1.6 update, saying “As we continue enhancing Lords of the Fallen based on your invaluable feedback, today's update brings with it a refined tutorial and onboarding experience, a more exploration-friendly ‘Umbral' realm, as well as further gameplay improvements and performance enhancements.”
The full list of patch notes can be found HERE, but some of the most notable improvements include:
- Tweaked enemy distribution and density
- Adjusted the perception of certain ranged units
- Improved platforming in specific areas
- Rebalanced PvP
- Combat attack displacement improvements
- Revamped tutorialisation
- Added audio / visual immersion and tension
Alongside all this, Lords of the Fallen should also run better across the board thanks to a new sweep of optimisation. Last but not least, the update also brings PS5 Pro support just in time for its launch.
While it may not have had the best start, Hexworks have demonstrated their commitment to Lords of the Fallen – and it’s all the better for it. Lords of the Fallen is currently 50% off until the 11th of November.
