Latest Gran Turismo 7 update teased

A little over one year on from its initial launch, Gran Turismo 7 is in an excellent place, with the PlayStation exclusive continually and consistently receiving free updates. As has been the case with all previous patches, the game’s director has taken to Twitter to tease the update ahead of time.

Shared by GT7 game director and Polyphony Digital president Kazunori Yamauchi, another Gran Turismo 7 update is due to be released this week. As with previous teases, the director shared an image of a number of upcoming vehicles shrouded in darkness.

That said, eagle-eyed fans have identified some of the cars set to arrive with this update, namely the Jaguar XJ220 1992; AMG GT3 Evo; and Super Formula SF23 Toyota/Honda Engine.

It is worth noting that this is likely to be but a small taste of what is to come with the update. The previous patch – also teased in the exact same manner – ended up bringing with it not just new cars, but a 120fps mode; multiple physics improvements; VRR support; new events, layouts and more.

With the consistent and continued improvements being added with each update, it will be interesting to see what this upcoming patch brings with it. Luckily, we won’t have to wait long to find out.
