Gran Turismo 7 update adds half a dozen Music Rally tracks and more

Late last week Gran Turismo 7 game director and Polyphony Digital president Kazunori Yamauchi teased that an update would be coming this week. Now, the update has gone live, bringing with it 3 new cars, additional Music Rally tracks and more.

Making the announcement on their blog, the team at Polyphony Digital officially detailed patch 1.35. While not the most content-rich update, there are a few neat additions:

  • Three new cars have been added
    • Aston Martin Valkyrie '21
    • Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR '95
    • Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX STi '04
  • The livery for the ‘ANEST IWATA Racing RC F GT3', driven by Igor Omura Fraga in the SUPER GT, has been added
  • Two ‘Extra Menus' have been added to the Café
    • [Extra Menu No. 24] ‘Collection: Subaru WRX' (Collector Level 26 and above)
    • [Extra Menu No. 25] ‘Collection: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution' (Collector Level 30 and above)
  • Monterey' and ‘Field of Flowers' added as featured Curations in Scapes

Last but not least, six new Music Rally events have been included:

  • Good Old Days (Classixx Remix)
  • DRIFT
  • Marechià (With Célia Kameni)
  • Hooked on America
  • Lifeʼs Coming In Slow
  • Moon Over the Castle GT7 version

Again, though not the biggest update in the world, it adds more than enough content to keep players engaged. Hopefully Polyphony Digital continues to update GT7 with this cadence.
