Gamescom 2021: Humble’s games are coming day one to Game Pass

In recent years, Humble (the company behind Humble Bundle) has gotten into publishing video games. Some of the publisher’s titles have included breakout hits such as Temtem, Void Bastards, Prodeus and more. During the 2021 Xbox Gamescom conference, the console manufacturer revealed that they are partnering with Humble to bring the publisher’s games to Xbox Game Pass day-and-date with their worldwide releases.

Making the announcement during Gamescom (and also through the Xbox blog) the Lead Brand Manager for Humble Games, Farah Memon, said “Today at the gamescom 2021 Xbox Stream, Humble Games announced that our lineup of indie games will be launching for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on day one and available with Xbox Game Pass.”

Some of the games launching day-one on Game Pass includes:

  • The RPG and bullet hell hybrid Archvale
  • The futuristic, action platformer Bushiden
  • The cybernoir point and click adventure, ‘Chinatown Detective Agency’
  • Dodgeball Academia
  • Flynn: Son of Crimson
  • The old-school brawler ‘Midnight Fight Express
  • Next Space Rebels
  • The survival horror game Signalis
  • Puzzle game ‘Unpacking
  • Unsighted

Microsoft has cultivated a strong line-up of games on its Game Pass subscription service, through day-and-date first-party releases, but also third party ones. It is exciting to see Humble’s ever-increasing line-up of games join the service.
