Following delays, PowerWash Simulator is finally coming to PlayStation and Switch

Back in December, we reported that the hit indie game PowerWash Simulator was having its update delayed, alongside a pushing back of the launch date for the game’s multi-platform release on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. Fortunately, this delay has turned out to be not too long, as the game will be coming to PS4/PS5 and Switch later this month,

In a PlayStation blog post which has since been deleted (possibly due to a premature announcement), it was revealed that PowerWash Simulator is set to arrive on PlayStation 4 and 5 (and presumably also Nintendo Switch) near the end of the month on the 30th of January.

Currently, it is unknown whether this release will launch alongside the previously-delayed update, or if fans will still have to wait longer for it. Back in December, the team addressed the update’s delay, saying:

“We are sorry, but we can no longer announce the next batch of content as planned. It is still coming, but at the moment, we can’t share what it is or its release date due to several development factors.”

While it seemed as though the update’s release would be detailed alongside the game’s multi-platform launch, this has not been the case – at least so far. It seems the announcement of PowerWash Simulator’s PlayStation release was accidentally published ahead of time, and so hopefully this means official confirmation is not too far away.
