Environmental strategy game Terra Nil coming to PC and Netflix next month

In an interesting move, Netflix has been amassing a decent collection of indie games which subscribers can play for no additional cost. Following the likes of OXENFREE, Moonlighter, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge and Immortality, the latest game set to join the service is the Devolver Digital published intricate environmental strategy game ‘Terra Nil’ – coming next month.

Terra Nil is a simple-looking yet aesthetically pleasing environmental strategy game all about “transforming a barren wasteland into a thriving, balanced ecosystem” in which you will “bring life back to a lifeless world by purifying soil, cleaning oceans, planting trees, and reintroducing wildlife, then leave without a trace.”

Developed by Free Lives (of Broforce, Genital Jousting and GORN fame), Terra Nil looks to be quite different from the team’s previous offerings – though all of the studio’s titles are rather unique in this regard.

Terra Nil is coming to PC and Netflix on the 28th of March, and as with all Netflix games will be available at no additional cost for subscribers. Modern smartphones are much more powerful than they are given credit for and so it is exciting to see more console-quality games coming to the platform.
