Disco Elysium rated for Switch and Xbox

Disco Elysium was a surprise hit when it was released in 2019. Taking The Game Awards by storm, the RPG won the greatest number of awards, soaring developers ZA/UM into the spotlight. Following its PC release, the game came to PlayStation and Stadia, with a promised Switch and Xbox release set for later in 2021. It seems its release may be imminent, as it has now been rated by PEGI.

PEGI stands for the Pan European Game Information, and serves as the European video game content rating system provider. As discovered by Twisted Voxel, Disco Elysium: The Final Cut has been rated by PEGI for both the Nintendo Switch and the Xbox Series X|S.

First released for PC on the 15th October 2019, Disco Elysium has slowly made its way to other platforms, including MacOS on the 27th April 2020, with the game’s Final Cut edition launching for PS4/5, Stadia and PC back in March of this year. This version brought with it many improvements, including full voice acting, bringing its Metacritic score to 97 and making it the highest rated PC game of all time.

It is therefore exciting to see a game that is so universally praised coming to both Xbox and Switch, allowing as many people as possible to experience this game.
