Dead Island 2 and more coming to PS Plus Extra this month

Each month, Sony updates its PlayStation Plus Extra / Premium libraries with a bunch of new games. For the month of October, subscribers will be able to get their hands on a wide variety of titles, from the emotional indie hit Gris to the bloody and visceral Dead Island 2.

Making the announcement on the PlayStation Blog, Adam Michel – the Director for Content Acquisition & Operations at SIE – said “Battle zombies across Hell-A, attempt to outwit a serial killer and their trap-filled hotel, build the ultimate university campus and learn the devastating, hilarious art of riposte and more with October’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup.”

Available from the 15th of October, this month’s PS Plus Extra line-up is as follows:

  • Dead Island 2 | PS4, PS5
  • Two Point Campus | PS4, PS5
  • The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me | PS4, PS5
  • Gris | PS4, PS5
  • Return to Monkey Island | PS5
  • Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed | PS4, PS5
  • Firefighting Simulator The Squad | PS4, PS5
  • Overpass 2 | PS5
  • Tour de France 2023 | PS4, PS5
  • Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands | PS4

Plus Dead Island

As always, PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also be getting a couple extra games in the form of ‘classics’ – namely:

  • The Last Clockwinder | PS VR2
  • Dino Crisis | PS4, PS5
  • Siren | PS4, PS5
  • R-Type Dimensions EX | PS4

Unfortunately, a bunch of other games will be departing from the line-up around the same time. Including Gotham Knights and Dragon Quest 11. The full list of upcoming departees can be found HERE.
