Cult of the Lamb’s biggest update is out now

Cult of the Lamb released in 2022 to a good deal of fanfare, due in part to the contrasting nature of the game’s narrative and themes mixed with the cutesiness of the art, characters and animation work. Following a number of solid updates, the team at Massive Monster have now released their biggest patch yet – bringing co-op and much more.

Available right now, the Cult of the Lamb: Unholy Alliance update brings a ton of new additions and features, with the most impactful being the implementation of co-op play – stating “Summoned by blood, and born in corruption. The Goat is a wicked new ally that can join the holy Lamb in LOCAL CO-OP! Experience the entire Cult of the Lamb campaign, with one player inhabiting the role of the Lamb and the other taking on the mantle of the Goat!”

Beyond this, the update includes a post-game quest which will net you new rewards, including a new trait. Speaking of follower traits, the Unholy Alliance update also adds 21 additional traits for much greater variety.

Finally, the update includes a new Knucklebones mini-game building and nursery – alongside new fleeces; relics; tarots and more.

The Cult of the Lamb Unholy Alliance update has been much-anticipated, and so it is exciting to see this game-changing free DLC now available.
