Black Ops 6 breaks records as “the biggest Call of Duty ever”

After four years away from the sub-series, Call of Duty Black Ops is back and seemingly bigger than ever. One month on from the game’s release, Activision has revealed that the first 30 days for Black Ops 6 has been the “biggest” ever – breaking records across total players, hours and more.

Making the announcement on Twitter, the official Call of Duty page shared the following: “Thank you to the Call of Duty community for continuing to make the launch of #BlackOps6 one for the record books.”

Alongside this, they released an infographic showing how “in the first 30 days from launch, together you made Black Ops 6 the biggest Call of Duty ever” – with the latest entry in the series seeing the no.1 total players; no.1 hours played and the no.1 total matches played during the first 30 days from launch.

Black Ops 6 Call of Duty

Of course, Activision seems to find a way to celebrate some sort of record with every Call of Duty release – be it the greatest amount of engagement, ‘the most successful 3rd mode, or whatever else sounds good.

That said, there’s no denying that Black Ops 6 seems to have revived the enthusiasm for Call of Duty in some regard, especially following the last two years of Modern Warfare releases. Hopefully Black Ops 6’s post-launch support is solid.’
