BioShock 1, 2, Infinite, and more come to PlayStation Now

Each month, Sony adds a number of new titles to its ever increasing library of steamable and downloadable PlayStation Now games. For the first month in 2021, the console manufacturer is adding a modest list of titles, including all three BioShock Games, The Crew 2, and more.

Available right now, the full list of titles added to PlayStation Now this month are:

  • Bioshock Remastered (permanent)
  • Bioshock 2 Remastered (permanent)
  • Bioshock Infinite: The Complete Edition (permanent)
  • Frostpunk (permanent)
  • Surviving Mars (permanent)
  • The Crew 2 (6 months)

The headlining title for the month of January is The Crew 2. Available for 6 months (until the 5th of July 2021), The Crew 2 is a multi-vehicle open world motorsport title which allows you to “explore and dominate the land, air, and sea of the United States”. Despite offering “a wide variety of exotic cars, bikes, boats, and planes to choose from” with seamless transitions between using all 4 types, The Crew 2 received mixed reviews from both critics and users. Still, there may be enough there for fans of the genre to give the game a go, especially as the game has since received a number of updates and improvements.

BioShock: The Collection is the other major addition this month. Despite the first title releasing over 12 years ago, all three games still hold up with what they were attempting to achieve with regards to storytelling, world building, tension and atmosphere. If you have yet to play any of these games, all three titles are worth a playthrough, especially in this remastered format.

BioShock: The Collection, Frostpunk and Surviving Mars are all permanent additions to the service, with The Crew 2 being available until the 5th of July.
