Baldur’s Gate 3 – physical Deluxe Edition announced

Earlier this week, Larian Studios teased that we would be getting official news on a physical release for Baldur’s Gate 3. Following the reveal that the release date for the long-awaited Xbox version would be announced at The Game Awards, the studio has now officially announced its Baldur’s Gate 3 – Deluxe Edition.

Making the announcement on Twitter, Larian Studios revealed its rather impressive Deluxe Edition, saying “Playable-on-disc? Must be the Baldur's Gate 3 – Deluxe Edition. The Deluxe Edition for PS5, Xbox, and PC includes the Digital Deluxe edition, as well as exclusive physical feelies, including a 3-disc OST, map, and more – all for $79.99.”

As mentioned, you’re getting quite a lot for the price, especially when compared to some other such Deluxe Editions. On the digital side, owners will get an array of in-game items namely:

  • Divinity Item Pack
  • Bard Song Pack
  • Exclusive Dice Skin
  • Paintings from Rivellon
  • Adventurer's Pouch
  • Digital OST
  • Digital Artbook
  • Digital Character Sheets

In terms of the actual physical goodies, the Deluxe Edition will net you:

  • A 3-disc soundtrack
  • A double-sided map
  • 32 stickers
  • 2 patches
  • A Mind Flayer poster
  • Collectible box
  • Physical game discs even on PC (+ a Steam serial key)

As with the game itself, The Baldur’s Gate 3 Deluxe Edition appears to be an excellent value, offering much more than your average special edition for less. It’ll be exciting to get a proper look at the Deluxe Edition when it ships sometime in Q1 of next year.
