Each month, Sony introduces a variety of new and returning titles to its PlayStation Plus Extra / Premium subscription service. Unfortunately, we likewise see a number of games taken away each month – with July’s departees now being officially announced.
In going to the ‘Last Chance to Play’ section on the PS5’s PlayStation Plus tab, users will find a list of a dozen titles which are set to be removed from the service (likely during the 3rd week of July).
Though far from the harshest of months when it comes to game departures, there are a great deal of notable indies which are worth checking out before they’re gone; with the full list being as follows:
- Risk of Rain 2
- Tropico 6
- Clash: Artifacts of Chaos
- Roki
- Source of Madness
- Cursed to Golf
- Hundred Days
- OneeChanbara Origin
- Get Even
- Bomber Crew
- Space Crew
- Infinite Minigolf
While each of these games are worth playing in their own right, one of the more disappointing departees is Risk of Rain 2. An excellent rogue-like in all respects, one could spend dozens or even hundreds of hours unlocking new characters; abilities; build-crafting or just seeing how far you and your friends can go.
Tropico of course is another great game, and one which you could equally spend hundreds of hours on managing your island state. That said, the likes of Roki; Source of Madness and Cursed to Golf can easily be completed between now and their inevitable removals sometime mid-July.
