Discord recently received a bunch of important updates, including new safety and security features, as well as new bonuses for Discord Nitro subscribers. Now, Discord is looking to win people over to its subscription option with a new two-week free trial. 

Starting from today and until the 13th of November, those who aren't subscribed to Discord Nitro will now have the option to try it for two weeks without paying. Activating the free trial immediately grants you access to all of Discord's additional features, including bigger file uploads, HD video streaming, server boosts, customisable Soundboard and special custom profile options.

Nitro subscribers also get access to Discord's new in-app shop, which includes new cosmetics that you can use to spruce up your profile. Those on mobile will also get access to Discord Remix, a recently introduced feature that allows you to quickly edit images by adding captions or emojis.

Discord Nitro will cost $9.99 per month once the free trial ends. Alternatively, there is the Nitro Basic subscription at $2.99, which unlocks 50MB file uploads, the ability to use custom emojis in any server and unlimited Super Reactions.
