Xbox Game Pass gets Ghost Recon Wildlands, Cooking Simulator and more this month

It is a new month, which means it is time for another Xbox Game Pass update. In the first half of August, Microsoft is bringing seven titles over, three of which will only be available on PC Game Pass.

Ubisoft is continuing to add to the Game Pass library with the addition of Ghost Recon Wildlands. The game joins other previous Ubisoft entries to the Game Pass library, including Watch Dogs 2, Assassin's Creed Origins, Far Cry 5 and Rainbow Six Extraction. There are other key entries this week too, like Cooking Simulator and strategy and sim hits like Offworld Trading Company and Two Point Campus.

Here's the full list of titles heading to Xbox Game Pass over the next two weeks, including supported platforms and dates:

  • Ghost Recon Wildlands (Cloud, Console and PC) – Available now
  • Shenzen I/O (PC) – August 4th
  • Turbo Gold Racing  (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 4th
  • Two Point Campus (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 9th
  • Cooking Simulator (Cloud, Console and PC) – August 11th
  • Offworld Trading Company (PC) – August 11th
  • Expeditions: Rome (PC) – August 11th

As usual, there are some games cycling out of Game Pass this month. On August 15th, five titles will leave the service, including:

  • Boyfriend Dungeon (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Curse of the Dead Gods (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Library of Ruina (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Starmancer (Game Preview) (PC)
  • Train Sim World 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)

As always, there will be another update with more games coming to Game Pass in roughly two weeks time.

KitGuru Says: Offworld Trading Company is consistently a top seller on Steam, so that is a pretty big get for Xbox Game Pass. It is also a game that I've been meaning to play for a long time, so it'll be nice to finally jump in. What do you think of the next batch of Xbox Game Pass titles?
