We’ll be seeing Halo Infinite in action soon

Microsoft teased Halo Infinite two years ago now and while we've seen a small clip of the game in action, we have yet to see substantial gameplay, or learn much about what to expect from the campaign or multiplayer. That should be changing very soon, as Halo Infinite is confirmed for Microsoft's upcoming first-party games showcase.

Earlier this month, Microsoft announced the Xbox 20/20 initiative, promising a series of transparent monthly updates. The first arrived this month, featuring third-party Xbox Series X titles, with June's update expected to focus on platform updates and features. The really exciting update will come in July, during which Microsoft promises to showcase first-party exclusives in the works for next-gen and PC.

As you may expect, Microsoft's flagship franchise, Halo, will be part of the July presentation, 343 Industries confirms: “You may have seen people talking about this lightly before, but we're extremely excited to confirm that Halo Infinite will be one of many first-party titles included in the Xbox 20/20 event in July”.

We don't know how much of Halo Infinite we will see in July, but with the game scheduled for 2020, we can expect to see plenty of it during the latter half of the year, as marketing and promotion begins to ramp up.

KitGuru Says: As fun as re-playing the Master Chief Collection on PC has been, I am much more excited to see the SlipSpace engine and the new direction for Halo Infinite. Are many of you looking forward to seeing more of this game?
