Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is now coming to PC in November, Xbox delayed further

While Fatshark originally intended to bring Warhammer 40,000: Darktide to PC and Xbox consoles in September, the game has now been delayed again. After being pushed out of 2021 and into ‘early 2022', the game was later pushed again to September. Now, the developers are hoping to release the game in November instead.

Adding on to an already stacked October to November period for game releases, Fatshark now plans to bring Warhammer 40,000: Darktide to PC on the 30th of November. Xbox Series X/S owners will have to wait a little longer, with the console release due to come “shortly after”, but no exact timing has been announced.

It seems that Darktide has had a bit of a messy road up to launch and now, the game will be releasing in the middle of a packed schedule. However, with Darktide poised to be a day-one Xbox Game Pass title, the game should still find a pretty big audience.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a 4-player co-op action game set in the hive city of Tertium. Expect gameplay similar to Vermintide, but with new enemies, weapons, maps and characters.

KitGuru Says: The Vermintide games were always a lot of fun, so hopefully Darktide can continue that tradition when it eventually drops.
