Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has had a turbulent development cycle but the game seems to finally be back on track, as Paradox has finally posted a long-awaited development update.
In the latest update, Paradox confirms the game is still in development, adding that there are plans to make more announcements in September this year – perhaps we'll finally see the game in action after all this time. For a quick look at some in-game environments, Paradox did share five new screenshots from the game:
Many people pre-ordered Bloodlines 2 back when it was first announced, prior to its many delays. As development has continued, the team's plans for certain pre-order bonuses have changed. Due to the amount of time that has passed, and changes to pre-order incentives, Paradox is offering refunds to anyone who has already purchased the game digitally. Paradox will also proactively refund all purchases of physical products, including the game's originally planned Collector's Edition.
The next Bloodlines 2 announcements will be coming in September.

KitGuru Says: The screenshots mentioned are listed as ‘post alpha' screenshots, which indicates the game is heading towards the next milestone in its development. We'll be keeping our fingers crossed that this means a 2024 release date.
