Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt PC system requirements updated again

Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodhunt is due out this week. So far, the game's PC system requirements have been revised twice and now just ahead of launch, they have been updated again, bringing down the minimum required specifications from previous estimations.

The last update to the PC system requirements raised the minimum specification, calling for a GTX 1070 or RX 5600 XT graphics card, as well as 16GB of RAM. Now, the developers at Sharkmob have lowered the minimum spec, calling for an Intel Core i5-7400 or AMD Ryzen 1300X CPU, 8GB of RAM and a GTX 970 or RX 580 graphics card.

Here are the minimum and recommended system requirements for the game:

Minimum:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: i5-7400 / Ryzen 1300X or better
  • Memory:  8GB RAM
  • Graphics: GTX 970 / RX 580 or better
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 20 GB available space

Recommended:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: i7-8700K / Ryzen 5 3600X or better
  • Memory: 16GB RAM
  • Graphics: GTX 1080 / Radeon RX Vega 64 or better
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 20 GB available space

In the additional notes section, developers Sharkmob also add that an SSD is “strongly recommended” over a hard drive. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt is set to release on the 7th of September.
