Vampire Survivors is finally coming to Nintendo Switch

Vampire Survivors swiftly became a hit when it launched on PC last year. Since then, the game has had two DLCs and has made its way to Xbox consoles and mobile devices. Now, the game is finally releasing on Nintendo Switch.

During today's Nintendo Direct stream, a quick 1-minute slot was given to Vampire Survivors, which will finally be available on Nintendo Switch from the 17th of August.

For those who don't know, Vampire Survivors is a roguelike, but attacks happen automatically, so the skill really comes from movement and item selection to build out your character over the course of a 30-minute wave of constant enemies. Beating each level and completing certain challenges will unlock new characters and abilities for you to use in future runs.

The Switch version will have the added bonus of couch co-op, so you and a friend can play with one joy-con each. There is no word on a PlayStation release for Vampire Survivors yet, but we'd anticipate the game will be available on all platforms eventually.

KitGuru Says: Vampire Survivors is one of my favourite games. I've actually checked the Switch eShop a few times since its release to see if it is available. Will any of you be picking this up for Switch?
