Upcoming Call of Duty crossovers will include Fallout, Gundam and The Crow

Call of Duty typically doesn't do a great job of keeping upcoming crossover content under wraps. We've regularly seen leaks for previous crossover DLCs and 2024 is no exception. This year for Modern Warfare 3, it looks like Activision is planning to release packs based on Fallout, Gundam and even The Crow.

After some datamining, CODWarfareForum found new references to upcoming content in the code from the recent Season 3 Reloaded patch. Specifically, the code points to Fallout, Gundam and The Crow.

Fallout is a pretty obvious one now that Microsoft owns both Bethesda, the makers of modern Fallout games, as well as Activision, the company behind Call of Duty. Recently, Fallout had a very successful TV show, so some cross-brand promotion should certainly earn some money.

Gundam is a Japanese anime series that has lived since the 1980s. Various new Gundam shows have come out over the years and there are no signs that the franchise will be slowing down anytime soon. Aside from the anime, there is also various other popular Gundam merch available, most notably the buildable models.

Finally, The Crow is a classic comic book series for those with a penchant for dark stories. The premise behind the main character is not too dissimilar to Spawn, another comic book character that has appeared in Call of Duty previously.

Other notable crossovers from Call of Duty in the past have included Attack on Titan, The Boys, Warhammer 40K, heck there was even a DLC for an operator modelled after NBA star, Kevin Durant. There are very few directions Call of Duty won't go in for crossover content.

KitGuru Says: I typically don't keep up with the wave of Call of Duty DLCs, but some of them have looked pretty tempting over the years. Perhaps in a couple months time I'll be dropping into Warzone in a full suit of armour from the Brotherhood of Steel.
