Ubisoft+ is heading to Xbox as publisher reveals list of included games

Ubisoft confirmed plans to bring its Ubisoft+ subscription service to Xbox consoles a long time ago and progress has been very slow. Last week, a prominent Xbox reporter claimed that the service would be heading to Xbox ‘imminently' and now, we have some evidence to back that claim up.

Ubisoft's website has recently been updated, advertising Ubisoft+ as available on Xbox consoles. The page also seems to list all of the games expected to land with the service too, although the list of titles is smaller than Ubisoft+ on PC, which grants day-one access to new releases.

According to the list, we'll be seeing Gold and Deluxe editions for some games on the Xbox version of Ubisoft+, including the likes of Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Siege, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Watch Dogs Legion, Immortals Fenyx Rising and Starlink. The service will also include a good number of Assassin's Creed titles, but not all of them, Valhalla for instance, is missing from the list at the time of writing. However, Unity, Black Flag, Syndicate, Origins and Odyssey all make appearances, as well as the Assassin's Creed Chronicles games.

Given that this page is live and public, we can expect an official announcement very soon, quite possibly before the end of the week.

KitGuru Says: It will be interesting to see if Ubisoft+ ends up being part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate offering like EA Play, or if Ubisoft will keep its subscription separate.
