Ubisoft announces Rainbow Six Quarantine

During its E3 press conference last night, Ubisoft took to the stage to announce Rainbow Six Quarantine, a new game set in the Rainbow Six universe. Based on the popular ‘Outbreak’ mode from Rainbow Six Siege, Quarantine will pair teams together in a co-op PvE fight for survival.

After several updates, Rainbow Six Siege went on to become one of the most popular PvP shooters around and continues to have a large player base today. Now with Rainbow Six Quarantine, Ubisoft wants to achieve that level of popularity in the PvE shooter space.

We only got a short teaser trailer to accompany the announcement. What we do know is that you will be placed in a group of up to three players to take on infected enemies.

The game is due out in ‘early 2020’ so we will be hearing much more in the months to come. An early access beta will also be taking place at some point, which you can sign up to take part in.

KitGuru Says: The concept here sounds solid but I’m having trouble picturing it as a whole game rather than an additional mode for Siege. Hopefully we will see and hear more about this soon.
