Trademark reveals ‘The Quarry’ from Until Dawn studio ‘Supermassive Games’

Supermassive Games has been working on the Dark Pictures Anthology of games over the last few years, but the Until Dawn studio now appears to be taking up a new major project.

This week, we learned that Supermassive Games has filed a new trademark for a title known as ‘The Quarry', which is set to release across PC and consoles according to the filing.

The trademark is significant, as it appears to be the first game from Supermassive outside of the Dark Pictures series since 2018. With that said, Supermassive does also have a bunch of other trademarks for future Dark Pictures games, so we don't expect that series to be finished just yet.

Supermassive Games has yet to officially announce The Quarry, so we know little about the game at this time. The trademark suggests that an announcement is coming soon though, so keep an eye out for more once new gaming events start rolling around, such as the next State of Play from PlayStation, or one of the major gaming streams planned over the Summer.

KitGuru Says: Supermassive Games built quite the reputation with Until Dawn, which may also be getting a remake of sorts. Have you been following the Dark Pictures series in recent years? Will you be looking forward to The Quarry when it gets announced?
