This week’s Halo Infinite playtest will be available to all Xbox players

Halo Infinite underwent its biggest public playtest last weekend, but 343 Industries isn't done yet. This weekend, there will be another playtest and this time, it is open to all Xbox players, not just Halo Insider members.

Unlike previous tests, you won't have to be part of the Halo Insider Program to play this weekend. Instead, all Xbox owners are eligible to participate and you can ensure you're ready by pre-loading the test build ahead of time.

All you need to do is install the Xbox Insider Hub app on an Xbox console, and within the app, you'll be able to download the Halo Infinite multiplayer beta and get it installed. After that, you'll be good to go at the weekend, with this week's playtest taking place from the 1st of October until the 3rd of October.

This time around, players will be able to play both 4v4 Arena and 12v12 Big Team Battle, both of which are full PvP modes, meaning you won't be put up against Halo Infinite's very impressive AI bots.

KitGuru Says: We don't have confirmation on whether or not the beta will be freely downloadable on PC yet, but either way, 343 is looking to get as many players in as possible this weekend. If you miss out this time, then don't worry as there are bound to be more tests taking place ahead of launch in December.
