The Steam Autumn Sale has some excellent deals

Last night, Valve kicked off its Steam Autumn Sale and so far, there are some excellent deals to be had on many PC games. There are even a few surprisingly high discounts for recently released titles, like Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Middle Earth: Shadow of War.

For starters, Bethesda's recently launched shooter, Wolfenstein II, is down to just £19.99 thanks to a 50 percent off discount. Meanwhile, The Evil Within II is also down to £19.99. If slaying Orcs is what you are after, then Middle Earth: Shadow of War is 40 percent off, sitting at £26.99.

Ubisoft received plenty of criticism for its original Watch Dogs release, but the sequel, Watch Dogs 2, was one of my favorite games of 2016. It improves over the original in many ways, if you haven't had the chance to try it yet, then it is 66 percent off on Steam right now, going for £16.99. At that price, it is thoroughly worth it.

If for some reason you haven't played The Witcher 3 yet, then the Game of the Year Edition is currently 60 percent off, going for £13.99. This includes the long base game as well as two expansions, Hearts of Stone/Blood and Wine.

If you just want to sit back and have some mindless fun, then Just Cause 3 is currently less than a fiver. Sniper Elite 4 is going for £13.49. My final recommendation on this list is Nier Automata, Platinum's 2017 masterpiece is game of the year material for many and at 40% off/£23.99, it seems like a no-brainer. Do be sure to have a controller handy though.

The Steam Autumn Sale is currently live, HERE.

KitGuru Says: I already own most of the games I've been after this year, but I did pick up Fable on sale for nostalgia's sake. Is there anything you guys are planning on grabbing on sale? Have you picked up a new game already?
