The Medium comes to Xbox and PC in December

Microsoft has a couple of third-party console exclusives lined up for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S at launch. One of those is The Medium, an impressive looking horror game from the studio behind Layers of Fear and Observer.

The Medium puts players in the shoes of Marianne, a woman haunted by visions of a child's murder. Eventually, these visions lead her to an abandoned hotel to find answers.

In the latest trailer for the game, which you can see above, Blooper Team announces the release date for The Medium. The game will be coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC on the 10th of December, one month after the consoles launch.

As pointed out by Eurogamer, The Medium was originally announced back in 2012 for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U, before being taken back to the drawing board. With that in mind, this game has had plenty of work put into it over the years. There is no word on a potential PS5 release later down the line.

KitGuru Says: The Medium is looking like a potential horror cult classic. Hopefully the final game can achieve that status. Are many of you planning on picking this one up in December?
