Star Wars Outlaws system requirements recommend upscaling for all PC configurations

The full PC system requirements for Star Wars Outlaws have now been announced. At first glance, these system requirements seem pretty high, but the game appears to be even more demanding when you take a look at the resolution settings.

The PC system requirements for Star Wars Outlaws are broken up into four recommended configurations. The usual minimum/recommended specs, as well as a ‘High' spec for 1440p and an ‘Ultra' spec for playing the game at 4K. The interesting part is that each of these configurations includes a note that Upscaling methods like DLSS, FSR or XeSS should be used across the board to achieve smooth performance.

You can find the full PC system requirements for Star Wars Outlaws below:

Minimum (1080p upscaled from 720p, 30FPS, Low graphics):

  • OS: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
  • CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 or Core i7-8700K
  • GPU: GTX 1660, RX 5600XT or Arc A750
  • RAM: 16GB

Recommended (1080p upscaled from 720P, 60FPS, High graphics):

  • OS: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
  • CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X or Core i5-10400
  • GPU: RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700XT
  • RAM: 16GB

High (1440p upscaled from 960p, 60FPS, High graphics):

  • OS: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
  • CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X or Core i5-11600K
  • GPU: RTX 3080/RTX 4070 or RX 6800XT
  • RAM: 16GB

Ultra (4K upscaled from 1440p, 60FPS, Ultra graphics):

  • OS: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
  • CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X3D or Core i7-12700K
  • GPU: RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX
  • RAM: 16GB

In all cases, you will also need 65GB of storage space free to install the game, and an SSD is also recommended over a slower HDD, which could negatively impact performance.
