Star Wars Jedi Survivor has been delayed

While it seemed everything was on track for Star Wars Jedi Survivor to launch in March, Respawn has opted to push the release date back for additional testing and bug fixing. Fortunately, it isn't a huge delay, so while the game is coming out a little later, we won't have to wait much longer.

In an announcement last night, Respawn confirmed that it is moving the release date from the 17th of March to the 28th of April, giving the team an additional six weeks to squash bugs.

Here is Respawn's statement on the delay:

“For the last three years, the Jedi team here at Respawn has poured its collective heart and soul into Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and we are proud to say the next chapter in the tale of Cal Kestis is content complete. We are now focused entirely on the final stage: bug fixes to enhance performance, stability, polish, and most importantly, the player experience”.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor will now be launching on the 28th of April for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5.

KitGuru Says: While delays are always disappointing, it is always better to take some extra time to avoid launch-day issues. Hopefully Respawn is on track to hit the new release date.
