Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order shown off in new trailer

After a couple of years worth of anticipation, Respawn Entertainment finally unveiled its Star Wars game over the weekend. The first trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is now live, promising a single-player only game and plenty of action to get engrossed in.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is going to launch on the 15th of November this year, which isn't too far away. Unfortunately, while there was a full panel for the game on Saturday, we were mainly just hearing about the game, rather than actually seeing it in action. No gameplay was shown, instead, we heard a few story and setting details, as well as a cinematic trailer that you can see below:

During this game, we will be put in the shoes of ‘Cal Kestis', a Padawan that managed to survive the emperor's Jedi purge. He'll be played be actor Cameron Monaghan, who you may recognise from shows like Gotham or Shameless.

Throughout the game, you will be able to use a lightsaber and force powers. You will also have a droid companion that will get upgrades along the way. Sith Inquisitors will seemingly be the major enemies of the game, as they try to hunt you down and wipe out the few last remaining Jedi.

Respawn has promised that Jedi: Fallen Order will be single-player only and will be free of any microtransactions, or at least that will be the case at launch. We have less than two months until E3, so hopefully we'll see some actual gameplay then.

KitGuru Says: The Jedi: Fallen Order panel was interesting but it is always better to see gameplay than to just hear a description of mechanics. Hopefully we'll actually see some footage at E3 in June. What did you guys think of the Jedi Fallen Order trailer? Are you excited for this one?
