Rockstar is gearing up to release the brand new Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions of Grand Theft Auto V this month and in an effort to convince people to upgrade, the developer has released a brand new Playstation 3 to Playstation 4 graphics comparison, showing off new textures, lighting and more anti-aliasing.
Los Santos certainly looks prettier in the latest version of Rockstar's highest selling title, which will run at 1080p and 30 frames per second on both the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. However, the PC version, which is due out in January next year, will contain 4K textures and will be able to run at whatever frame rate the hardware allows. In addition to the enhanced graphics, those who played the last generation version of GTA V will get some extra content when they upgrade to the current generation version, which we reported on- HERE.
Every texture in the game has been replaced, the overall resolution has been increased and the draw distance has been doubled. Those who upgrade to this year's version of Grand Theft Auto V will also be able to experience the brand new first person view mode.

The long wait did hurt that’s for sure, but given how much great stuff is happening this season for pc gaming, I’m a bit glad a game like this that’ll eat so much time wont be out making me have to choose.

Because xbox one is a home theatre machine, the PS4 is for games 🙂
well i own both consoles i just play on xbox alot more and im wondering , even if it looks worse they should put some vids out there . And i have bad experience with ps4 , first 2 of them were rma , loud as hell , still have problems with going into sony online shop , once it goes there once it hangs on loading screen , and lets not even talk about paid online service wich is like yeti , we believe its out there but none of us saw it
I think Rock Star is managing the hype built up very well. We are still talking about that game now, aren’t we? They seem to be commited to deliver a great PC expirence and not the broken console port that GTA IV was. I can’t wait to see GTA V in 4K!!! The first person mode is also intriguing. And there are plenty of new stuff to do apparently, so no, the wait didn’t diminish my enthusiasm!

PC Version all the way, but don’t get me wrong I’ll still double dip and get a copy for the PS3 to add to the collection because we all know when we wanna take a tip down memory lane, firing up a PC in eight years from now won’t be so easy.

Okay my turn. You own both consoles? for what? games? why not one?- something tells me you are already lying. Okay, so want some xbox one videos? even Microsoft have demoed its game on pc guess why? because noone will buy a low quality product.
ps4 is made by a factory like xbox one. They bought can be defected and thats not Microsoft or Sony fault. But they will to replace it because they answer for their product.
Never owned a console but planning to buy ps3 for god of war ascension multiplayer.
Oh and btw. Why NOT ps4 but both console suck is that SONY and MICROSOFT can ban you even for bad language and your console will become useless. Because you wont be able to play your console at all :).
It’s not like console exclusives aren’t a thing, Aleksej. Maybe there’s xbone and ps4 exclusive games that he’d like to play, hm? Also, Sony or Microsoft banning you for being a dick is not an indication of the consoles being poor quality. That rant is however, an indication that you’re slightly bitter that you got banned from using yours from consistant online dickery.
