Rockstar is giving GTA: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition PC buyers a free game

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition had one of the worst launches of 2021, with players encountering plenty of bugs and quality issues throughout. To make up for that, Rockstar is now offering all existing GTA Trilogy DE owners on PC a free game, including GTA V.

Owners of the Definitive Edition trilogy on PC, as well anyone who purchases by the 5th of January 2022, a free copy of one of five games. Alternatively, premium currency for Grand Theft Auto Online or Red Dead Online can be claimed.

Eligible owners will be able to choose from the following:

  • Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Edition
  • Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition
  • Max Payne 3
  • LA Noire
  • Bully: Scholarship Edition
  • A Great White Shark Cash Card for GTA Online ($1.25 million in-game)
  • 55 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online

The games will be redeemable through the Rockstar launcher, rather than Steam or the Epic Games Store.

KitGuru Says: There is also a Rockstar holiday sale going on via its own store. Did any of you pick up GTA: The Trilogy Definitive Edition? Which of the free games will you be claiming?
