Resident Evil 4 Remake will get Separate Ways campaign DLC datamine suggests

We already know that the newly launched Resident Evil 4 Remake will be getting one big free DLC update soon, adding in The Mercenaries game mode. As it turns out, an expansion could be on the way further down the line, dataminers have discovered.

The original version of Resident Evil 4 did eventually release with an additional story campaign called Separate Ways, starring Ada Wong and providing an alternative perspective to the events of the game. This extra campaign was released in Japan under the name “The Another Order”, which has been referenced in files found in the RE4 Remake.

Dusk Golem, a leaker with a decent track-record when it comes to Resident Evil and some other Capcom titles, has previously claimed that the Separate Ways campaign would come to the remake as a DLC later down the line. They also claimed that it will be longer than the original version, so the developers may be expanding on the events further.

This idea is backed up by dataminers, who discovered files referencing the DLC in the released version of RE4 Remake. Capcom has not yet made any official announcements regarding this, but hopefully we'll hear something before the end of the year.
