Resident Evil 4 Remake will get a VR mode post-launch

Resident Evil Village was recently updated with a VR mode just in time for the PS VR2 headset. Now, Capcom has announced that it is also planning to bring VR to Resident Evil 4 Remake.

In an announcement posted this week, Capcom revealed it has begun work on a VR mode for Resident Evil 4 Remake, which will be made available as a free DLC for PS5 owners. Based on this wording, it seems VR in RE4 Remake will be exclusive to PlayStation VR2 for the time being.

There is no exact release date yet for this DLC, so it could end up being a year or so out. Resident Evil 4 Remake needs to make its way onto shelves first.

Resident Evil 4 Remake will release on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on the 24th of March.

KitGuru Says: It is a shame that VR will seemingly be exclusive to PlayStation, but it is also in keeping with Capcom and Sony's previous arrangements, so it isn't too surprising.
