Predator is coming to Mortal Kombat X

Mortal Kombat X is launching soon and the character roster keeps on getting better. Now Warner Bros has announced that the Predator will be a playable character, although it will only be available to those who buy the premium edition of the game at first.

Premium edition buyers will also get access to Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th series along with two more “Klassic Mortal Kombat characters”, although details about the final two characters have yet to be announced.

There is some more information though, the Mortal Kombat X developers, NetherRealm, showed off a new finisher called the ‘Quitality', which will affect players who quit a game mid-fight. The move causes the disconnected character's head to explode and results in an instant win for the other player.

The idea behind the Quitality is to reward players who have been abandoned, rather than punishing those who quit early. Mortal Kombat X is set to launch on the 14th of April for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Playstation 4 and PS3.
