No Man’s Sky for Nintendo Switch is now releasing in October

While No Man's Sky was originally going to release on Nintendo Switch a little sooner, Hello Games needs a bit more time to perfect the new port, pushing it back to October.

Hello Games confirmed this week that No Man's Sky for the Nintendo Switch has been pushed back from its original ‘summer' release window to the 7th of October.

No Man's Sky on Switch will include all of the free expansions Hello Games has released over the years. From its launch in 2016 to now, Hello Games has released yearly gameplay updates, adding in highly requested features and making other improvements to the game.

No Man's Sky had a very rough start, but it has gone on to become one of the most beloved space survival games around. The Nintendo Switch isn't the only platform getting No Man's Sky for the first time this year – an iOS and Mac version of the game is also on the way.

KitGuru Says: No Man's Sky is well worth picking up if you've never played it before. If you'd rather play at higher frame rates on a PC, then you can find the game on sale right now during the Steam Summer Sale.
