Monster Hunter World: Iceborne coming to PC in January

Monster Hunter World was one of the most popular games to come out in 2018 and Capcom has been looking to keep that going in 2019 with the massive Iceborne expansion. Currently, the expansion is available on Xbox One and PS4, but PC players will have the opportunity to jump in themselves in January, complete with enhanced features.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is coming to PC on the 9th of January. Ultra-wide support is available in the base game now and will remain in place for Iceborne. There will also be an optional high resolution texture pack and DirectX 12 support is included too. You can get an early look at the PC version in the 4K/60 trailer below:

As we saw with the base game, Iceborne will continue to be updated over time with free DLC, events and new hunts. Iceborne also adds Master Rank hunts, so the truly dedicated players will have a new tier to aim for.

The Iceborne expansion will be £34.99 at launch. There is also a deluxe edition with a few extra cosmetics for £41.99. The first free update on PC after launch will include Rajang, a monster from earlier games in the series. There will also be some Resident Evil themed costumes and updates to the player’s room.

KitGuru Says: Monster Hunter World is still going strong and Iceborne has already garnered plenty of praise on consoles and will hopefully do just as well on PC. Are many of you planning on grabbing Iceborne when it comes to Steam?
