Microsoft announces launch-day games for Xbox Series X and Series S

Earlier this week, Microsoft updated us on how backwards compatibility works with previous gen games on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Now today, the team has revealed the full launch-day line-up of games. 

This list does not include backwards compatible titles, so every game on the list is running natively on Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S with all the upgrades in place to take advantage of next-gen hardware. Games with ‘Smart Delivery' noted next to them are cross-gen games with additional graphical/performance upgrades available to the Xbox Series X/S version.

In all, that's 31 games available on day one, in addition to backwards compatible titles. Shortly after the release of the Xbox Series X and Series S, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Cyberpunk 2077 and other big holiday titles will also be releasing as cross-gen games.
