Journey to the Savage Planet sequel on the way

Typhoon Studios really found its footing with Journey to the Savage Planet back in early 2020. Unfortunately, after being acquired by Google for Stadia Games & Entertainment, the studio was shut down in 2021, along with the Stadia platform. Now, fans may finally get their long-awaited sequel, as the development team has reportedly reformed.

Racoon Logic was founded in 2021, following the closure of Typohoon Studios, with the goal of reviving the Journey to the Savage Planet series and moving it forward. Now, as spotted for MP1st and Eurogamer, the studio has filed a trademark for a game titled “Revenge of the Savage Planet”.

In addition to this, the studio has put out a casting call for actors to voice in the game, which is listed under the working title “Project Lodestar”. The description explicitly states that the project is a follow up to Typhoon's Journey to the Savage Planet.

It is expected that the game may be announced before the end of the year, as the casting call is specifically seeking someone who can voice a ‘spokesperson' role for the introduction video that plays before the main menu.
