Insomniac’s Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales are coming to PC this year

Through leaks, we learned recently that PS5 exclusive, Returnal, will be heading to the PC. As it turns out, Sony had a big surprise up its sleeve – Insomniac's Spider-Man and Miles Morales games are arriving first.

Spider-Man is perhaps the most requested PlayStation exclusive for the PC platform. Insomniac's take on Peter Parker has been hugely successful and widely praised. Not only will the remastered version of 2018's Spider-Man be coming to PC, but the smaller ‘expandalone' style game, Miles Morales, will also be releasing later this year.

Spider-Man Remastered will launch on Steam and the Epic Games Store on the 12th of August 2022. Later in the year, Miles Morales will also release, but we don't have an exact date yet. Interestingly, this is the first major PlayStation PC port to be handled by Nixxes, a studio well known for its work on AAA PC releases, and one of the latest studios to join the PlayStation family.

We'll have to wait until closer to release to get a full breakdown of graphical features and PC system requirements. Since this is the remastered version, it should include ray-tracing, and it'll be interesting to see how well RT performs on full PCs versus the PS5.
