Hood: Outlaws is shutting down and being delisted

Sumo released a promising looking, Robin-Hood inspired game back in 2021, titled Hood: Outlaws and Legends. Unfortunately, the game didn't quite catch on and as a result, the game is set to go offline in 2025 and will also be delisted.

Hood: Outlaws was a co-op title, with a group of up to five players going on medieval heists, coming up against guards and bosses, like Robin Hood's longtime foe, the Sheriff of Nottingham. While an interesting concept, the game amassed mixed reviews on Steam and due to dwindling sales and a low player base across PC and consoles, the game is now going offline.

“We regret to inform you that our game, Hood: Outlaws and Legends, will be ending service on February 18. After this date, the game, along with any editions, DLCs, and battle pass items, will no longer be accessible,” the announcement post reads.

“This has been a difficult but necessary decision, and we understand it may be disappointing. The Hood teams deeply thank you for your support and dedication throughout this incredible adventure. We cherished every part of it and we hope your memories of Hood: Outlaws and Legends will be as treasured as ours.”

As the game is going offline, anyone who purchased it in the last two weeks will be eligible for a refund. The in-game store will close down in mid-October, ahead of the servers shutting down for good in February. As the game is shutting down, it will also be delisted, so no additional purchases can be made.
