Halo 2: Anniversary public testing begins on PC today

Progress on the Master Chief Collection for PC is continuing at a swift pace. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary made its way over last month and later today, public testing will officially begin for Halo 2 Anniversary.

Those who have signed up to the Halo Insider Programme will need to keep an eye on their emails, as flighting begins later today, as confirmed by 343's Tyler Davis:

We don't have a breakdown of what will be included in this flight test yet. If it ends up being huge like Halo 1's was, then we can expect a release within a few weeks. If it is a smaller more limited flight, then further updates will be coming before the game rolls out to all.

Halo 2 has previously released on PC but this will be the first time we get to see Anniversary on the platform, which was a much better remaster compared to Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.

KitGuru Says: Have many of you had an email from the Halo Insider programme today? Are you hoping to get into the testing phase for Halo 2?
