Guardians of the Galaxy, Final Fantasy and more head to Xbox Game Pass this month

We've officially made it through to March and right on time, Microsoft has revealed the next batch of games coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC, consoles and cloud. In a surprise move, we have a pretty major headliner for this month – Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. 

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is the second Marvel title published by Square Enix. Unlike The Avengers, Guardians is a single-player adventure, and was well received by critics at release last year. The game's launch sales did disappoint Square Enix, although that isn't an uncommon trend for the company's western titles. If you didn't pick up the game at release but have been meaning to give it a shot, then March is the perfect time, as the game will be landing on Xbox Game Pass for PC, console and cloud.

Here is the full list of Xbox Game Pass titles arriving over the next couple of weeks, complete with dates:

March 1st

• Far: Changing Tides (PC, console and cloud)
• Microsoft Flight Simulator (Cloud)

Match 3rd

• Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns (console and PC)

March 10th

• Kentucky Route Zero (PC, console and cloud)
• Lawn Mowing Simulator (PC and console)
• Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy (PC, console and cloud)
• Young Souls (PC, console and cloud)

Unfortunately, there is also a set of games leaving Xbox Game Pass on the 15th of March:

• Nier: Automata (Cloud, Console, and PC)
• Phogs! (Cloud, Console, and PC)
• Torchlight III (Cloud, Console, and PC)
• The Surge 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)

This is just the first half of the month, so expect another Xbox Game Pass update in a couple of weeks to cover the second half of March. As of today, the Xbox Game Pass app on PC is also getting a big update, allowing users to access files for installed games, the ability to repair installs or move games between drives, mod support for more titles and the option to choose your game install folder.
