GTA+ may soon include access to Rockstar’s Nintendo Switch games

Since debuting GTA+, Rockstar's subscription service for GTA Online, the company has expanded the list of benefits to include access to other Rockstar classics on certain platforms. According to a recent update to the Rockstar website, soon, GTA+ subscribers may also get free access to games on Nintendo Switch.

Rockstar has released a few of its older titles on Switch, including the likes of LA Noire, the GTA Definitive Edition trilogy and Red Dead Redemption. The addition of Switch as a supported platform for GTA+ benefits came as a surprise and was quickly removed, but not before being spotted by Rockstar dataminer, Tez2, a well known name in the Rockstar fandom.

Rockstar has not commented on the situation yet, so it is unclear if this was an error, or a hint at an official announcement.

Rockstar's website has been known to show errors in the past. Just last year ahead of the launch of Red Dead Redemption for PS4 and Switch, references to a PC version were also found but here we are 12 months on with no PC version in sight. With that in mind, this could lead absolutely nowhere.
