Grand theft auto V has its first bug

Upon release of what could be this generation's biggest game launch, the first bug has been highlighted by developer Rockstar. Don't worry though it's not that bad: Xbox 360 players have to run the second disc straight from the DVD drive as installing to the HDD will cause some textures and in game objects to pop in late.

Rockstar tweet

The digital foundry team have captured some gameplay footage to showcase the issues that come from installing the second disc:

If you need to save on disc space after doing the mandatory first disc install then you can run the second disc off of  a USB drive instead which will save you from taking up an additional 8 gb's. This will only save space though; it won't fix anything.

There is no word yet on the PlayStation 3 having the same issues, some are worried that the on demand version from the PSN store will be inferior but so far it doesn't seem to be an issue. No game comes without bugs, especially the huge open world ones like this.

Chances are Rockstar are working on a fix, but no word on when it will be released.

KitGuru Says: Don't let this stop you from playing the game. I know the Xbox can be quite loud when running discs but this won't be a permanent problem and it should be fixed soon.
