Grand Theft Auto V and Exoprimal headline July’s Xbox Game Pass update

The next wave of titles for Xbox Game Pass subscribers has now been announced. Between now and mid-July, subscribers can expect seven more games, including the return of Grand Theft Auto V.

Rockstar doesn't typically put its games on subscription services but it has made a number of deals with both Sony and Microsoft in the past. This month will see Grand Theft Auto V return to the Game Pass library for console and cloud. This time around, the new-gen Xbox Series X/S version of the game is available, not just the base Xbox One version.

Here's the full list of games heading to Game Pass over the next couple of weeks, including dates and platforms:

  • Grand Theft Auto V (Cloud and Console) – Available today.
  • Sword and Fairy: Together Forever (Cloud, Console & PC) – Available today.
  • McPixel 3 (Cloud, Console & PC) – July 6th.
  • Common'hood (Cloud, Console & PC) – July 11th.
  • Insurgency: Sandstorm (PC) – July 11th.
  • Exoprimal (Cloud, Console & PC) – July 14th.
  • Techtonica (Cloud, Console & PC) – July 18th.
  • The Cave (Cloud and Console) – July 18th.

On the 15th of July, three games will be leaving Game Pass, including Exo One, PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls and Spelunky 2.
