G.Skill launches Trident Z5 Neo and Flare X5 DDR5 memory for next-gen Ryzen

AMD is launching its new generation of Ryzen processors, and its first DDR5-capable platform in September. Ahead of the launch of Ryzen 7000 and AM5 motherboards, memory makers have begun unveiling their new AMD-optimised DDR5 memory modules. G.Skill will be expanding here with two new DDR5 memory product lines – the Trident Z5 Neo and the Flare X5 memory series.

G.Skill's new AMD-focused memory kits support AMD Extended Profiles for Overclocking (EXPO), which allow users to easily overclock the memory kits with just a few clicks. You can get a closer look at the flagship Trident Z Neo memory in the video below:

Bearing the flagship Trident family name, the new Trident Z5 Neo and Trident Z5 Neo RGB series are purpose built for overclocking performance on the AM5 platform with Ryzen 7000 series processors. The heatspreader remains matte black, paired with a premium black brushed aluminium inset. Meanwhile, the Flare X5 memory kits offer a low-profile, 33mm tall heat spreader, making it ideal for compact builds, or for a system with a large CPU cooler.

The Trident Z5 Neo, Trident Z5 Neo RGB, and Flare X5 series DDR5 memory kits will be available in September 2022.
