Fortnite’s big Dragon Ball crossover event is now live

The Dragon Ball crossover is now live in Fortnite, bringing along several iconic characters for you to play as, as well as new gameplay items, quests, themed-islands and even a Dragon Ball Super festival.

The crossover event will be live for one month, ending on September 17th. Between now and then, you can go to specific islands in Fortnite to watch Dragon Ball Super episodes on a giant in-game screen. Each episode contains major fights from throughout Dragon Ball Super's run, most of them featuring none other than Goku himself.

There are also the Dragon Ball Adventure Island, which lets you explore a few iconic locations from the series, like Goku's house, Kami's Palace and more. These will be available starting on the 19th of August. The update also brings ‘Power Unleashed' quests. Completing these and collecting the seven Dragon Balls will allow you to unlock a Shenron Glider.

In Fortnite Battle Royale, you can pick up the Kamehameha as an energy beam weapon. You can also travel using the Nimbus Cloud item. There is also a Dragon Ball Item Shop, where you can pick up outfits for the four playable Dragon Ball characters – Son Goku, Vegeta, Bulma and Beerus. The shop also has other cosmetics, including emotes, gliders, pickaxes and more.
