EA Play Live has been delayed by one week

With E3 scrapped for this year, most major publishers are focused on holding their own events. EA is no different, as the publisher made plans to host EA Play Live next week to showcase upcoming games. However, like many other planned events this month, EA has decided to push it back to a later date.

Sony, CD Projekt Red, IGN, Future and other event holders have all delayed their upcoming announcement events in support of the on-going Black Lives Matter protests. EA is also joining that list:

EA Play Live will now be taking place on the 18th of June at 4PM PDT or 7PM EDT. For those of us in the UK, the show will actually start at midnight on the 19th of June.

We don't know what EA plans on announcing or showing off, but we do know that there is another Battlefield coming in 2021 and that there is a smaller Star Wars game labelled ‘Project Maverick' being worked on. Perhaps we'll even get an update from BioWare on some upcoming titles- Dragon Age 4 and Mass Effect Remastered have both been discussed amongst fans for quite some time.
