Diablo II: Resurrected is launching in September, beta in August

Last night during the Xbox E3 showcase, Blizzard made a surprise appearance to reveal the release date for Diablo II: Resurrected. We already knew that the remake would be releasing this year, but it'll be coming a bit earlier than expected, there is also going to be an open beta before launch.

Diablo II: Resurrected is releasing on the 23rd of September, but you'll have the opportunity to play it before then, as a multiplayer beta is set to take place in August.

The upcoming beta will be available on “supported platforms” and will feature the Amazon, Barbarian, Paladin, Sorceress and Druid classes. The Necromancer and Assassin classes will be available when the game releases but will not be playable in the beta.

Diablo II: Resurrected will include modern remaster features such as support for UHD resolution, 7.1 surround sound, recreated cinematic sequences, cross-platform progression and more.

KitGuru Says: Diablo II: Resurrected is shaping up well. Will many of you be testing out the upcoming beta or picking up the game on day one?
